What should my salon schedule look like?

Since every client is seriously different, finding the right schedule for visiting your favorite team member at The Root Salon can be confusing. But finding the right one for you is important because it’s the key to maintaining your beautiful salon look.

Let’s say you are a gentleman with short hair or a lady who beautifully rocks a pixie. We should see you every four to six weeks. Keeping short hair clean and crisp is important. Keep in mind that bang trims and neck clean ups are always complimentary at The Root Salon.

What if you wear medium length hair or a bob? Again, we should probably see you every four to six weeks. The clean line of classic bobs need to be maintained or you will begin to struggle with styling problems like flipping and lengthy style times.

So you are so proud of that pretty, long layered look. Lucky you! This look is a little less high maintenance so we don’t need to see you for six to eight weeks. Again, if you need a quick, free bang trim, we are here for you. Just call!

Then there are those of you sporting the “Rapunzel” or mermaid look who take that crazy long mane super seriously. Yep, we probably won’t see you more than three to four times a year. Make sure you are using very good home-care products that are custom recommended for you hair type from your Root Salon professional to keep your hair healthy for a long period of time.

On to our color clients.

Do you love your highlighted hair? Want to keep it looking fresh? Please schedule ahead of time to see your colorist every six to eight weeks. You mega blondes will definitely need to stick to the six week mark while you ladies with some baby lights and softer balayage can push your appointments to every two months.

Our guests who have all over color services performed will need to see us every three to five weeks depending on how much gray you have and how strong the contrast is between your cosmetic color and your natural color. The more persistent your gray is, the more often we will need to see you. The higher the contrast between your natural color and the color you leave the salon with, the more often we need to see you. We think you get the gist.

Last but for sure not least, what about you blonderexics out there? Yes, you, you bleach and tone beauty. Every three weeks and no more! We strictly need three weeks of out growth to keep you looking your best with the least amount of damage to your hair.

We hope this helps. This is the very best time of year to pre-book your appointments. So get on it and start booking now. Don’t forget you can book online here (link). Or give us a call if you need help. We are here for you!
