It all starts at the…scalp!
Hi friends!
This week, we’ve got a super simple recipe for an at-home remedy scalp detox. Keeping your scalp clean and healthy is very, very important. Not only is a dirty scalp gross, but a scalp with build-up can cause discomfort, growth issues, and ultimately have a negative impact on the look of the hair.
This scalp detox gets rid of dead skin, unclogs pores and remove product build up resulting in more healthy hair growth.
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons olive oil
ΒΌ teaspoon cinnamon powder
Directions:
Use a good amount of the mask and apply all over your scalp. Use your fingertips (not fingernails!) to massage your scalp in a circular motion- this helps stimulate your scalp, increase circulation, and remove dead skin cells that might be clogging your pores.
Put on a shower cap and allow the solution to sit for about 10-15 minutes.
Shampoo and condition as normal.
Finish off your detox treatment off with an apple cider vinegar rinse. Rinsing your hair with apple cider vinegar will help kill the bacteria that causes dandruff and itchy scalp. The rinse will leave your scalp clean and healthy, giving your hair extra shine!!
